ASAP

ASAP — ASAP stands for "as soon as possible".

In simple English

ASAP is understood everywhere, but it can create pressure and confusion. "Please send it ASAP" doesn't say when, so one person thinks "within an hour" and another thinks "this week". Good teams replace ASAP with a real time ("by 3pm today") and save ASAP for genuine emergencies. Using it too often can sound bossy.

How to say it: Say "ay-ess-ay-pee" or "ay-sap". Both are fine at work.

ASAP full form: as soon as possible. Here is how to use it, and when a real deadline is better.
