OOO

OOO — OOO stands for "out of office": you are away from work and not available, for example on vacation, sick or travelling.

In simple English

OOO appears in calendar blocks, Slack statuses and email auto-replies: "OOO until Monday". It does not say why you are away, only that you are not working. An "OOO message" or "OOO reply" is the automatic email people get while you are gone. In speech, people usually say "I'm out next week" or "I'm off on Friday".

How to say it: In speech, people say "I'm out" or "out of office". Saying the letters, "oh-oh-oh", sounds playful.
