wheelhouse

wheelhouse — "In your wheelhouse" means a topic is within your skills or expertise; "not my wheelhouse" means it is outside what you know well.

In simple English

"Kubernetes is really in Raj's wheelhouse" means Raj is strong at it. People often use it to redirect politely: "Pricing isn't really my wheelhouse, but Ana can help." It comes from the wheelhouse on a ship, where the captain steers, and from baseball, where a pitch "in your wheelhouse" is easy to hit. It is casual and American.

How to say it: Say "WEEL-house", with the stress on "weel".

Someone said "that's not my wheelhouse"? It means it is not their area of expertise.
